About Monmouth Beach PT

Welcome to Monmouth Beach Physical Therapy

Hello, I’m Dr. Dominique Wynn, the heart and hands behind Monmouth Beach Physical Therapy. With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California, one of the top programs in the nation, I bring a deep understanding and a wide array of specialized techniques to each session.

After years of experience, I chose to open my own practice to focus on what I love most: working directly with you to tailor treatments that are as unique as your health needs. This approach allows us to partner together in a way that large clinics often can’t provide.

Here’s What I Offer:

  • Personalized Sessions: Every appointment is one-on-one, ensuring you receive my undivided attention throughout your treatment.
  • A Comprehensive Skill Set: From Dry Needling to Manual Lymphatic Drainage and innovative Pilates Reformer exercises, I integrate various methods to help you recover holistically.
  • Innovative Techniques: Manual therapy which combines fascia release with eccentric muscle training and active tissue release for deeper, more effective healing and strengthening at the same time.
  • Genuine Commitment: I am dedicated to not just treating you but also educating and empowering you throughout your healing process.

As someone who loves to see others thrive and regain their best selves, I am committed to providing a supportive environment. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or striving to improve your overall physical function, I am here to help you every step of the way.

Some of my advanced trainings:

  • Dry Needling Certification: Trains practitioners in using thin needles to treat muscle pain and dysfunction by releasing tight muscle bands and decreasing trigger point activity.
  • Myofascial Cupping Practitioner: Involves using cups on the skin to create suction, which promotes blood flow, relieves muscle tension, and enhances recovery.
  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage Certification: Equips practitioners to perform techniques that help move lymph fluid to reduce swelling, detoxify the body, and improve overall immune function.
  • Titleist Performance Certification: Focuses on assessing and improving golf swing mechanics to enhance performance and prevent injuries specific to golfers.
  • Functional Movement Assessment Certification: Trains in assessing body patterns and movements to identify physical imbalances and areas at risk for injury, informing tailored exercise programs.
  • Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist: Specializes in therapeutic strategies to aid recovery from stroke, improving mobility, strength, and coordination while addressing neurological deficits.
  • Fall Prevention Specialist: Focuses on assessing risk factors and implementing strategies to prevent falls, particularly among the elderly, enhancing safety and mobility through balance training and environmental adjustments.
